Roxanne Gutierrez finished her Bachelor of Music Major in Violin at the University of the Philippines College of Music. She took part in violin and Chamber Music masterclasses by the Abegg Trio, William Harvey’s Music for the People, Orava String Quartet, Joseph Esmilla and Cristoph Wyneken.
She was a member of the Southeast Asian Youth Orchestra in 2005 and was the 2nd violin principal in 2007 and 2008. Last August, she also joined the First Asian Amateur Orchestra Festival held in Fukuoka, Japan.
She was a former member of the Metro Manila Community Orchestra, a former concertmaster of the University of the Philippines Orchestra, and was a tutti violinist of FILharmoniKA. She is now a member of the ABS-CBN Philharmonic Orchestra under the baton of Maestro Gerard Salonga.
